I hope cam comes back to 2015 form but I doubt it. If he’s not running he can’t compete with Allen as a passer

First 8 games of last year proves otherwise. He is injured. If he can’t get back to 100% then Kyle obviously gives us the best chance. I want to win. Bottom line. 100% cam gives us the best chance to win it all. I will root like hell with either qb.

I imagine Norv gave Kyle a simpler game plan and paid more attention to getting calls in quickly so that Kyle would have time to read the pre-snap defense.

That makes sense but I'm not sure it's true.

Allen has had enough time to know the system and the playbook.

I know that’s your wet dream since that’s the only thing you singled out. But a 100% Cam is better than Kyle Allen. Sorry. You should be hoping Cam comes back to 100% if you want to win a super bowl.

I don’t know what it is that makes you think that we all wish we could turn back the clocks to 2015 but let’s be f’n serious and I’m not referring to running and it’s about BAll PLACEMENT TIMING AND ACCURACY which we should know that part of his game has vastly diminished even fully healthy those things are clutch and I’m sorry one of my favorite players doesn’t do those things well enough to win that chip. A solid game manager will win for us this year I have a thread I’m composing on our team I see things s little differently.

What if there is no such thing as a 100% Cam Newton anymore?  That 2015 demi-God QB is not walking thru that door again anytime soon, Im afraid.

And that’s fine. Like I said if he can’t be 100% meaning stretch the ball downfield. Kyle needs to play. We have to have that threat. He was doing all those things first 8 games of the season minus throwing it deep. If his deep ball is gone, he is gone.

Cam looks too frustrated when the call takes a while for it to be on him.

Like I have been saying I don't think Norv knows how to use Cam and he gets in his own head. Kyle is the type of QB Norv knows how to get the most out of. Not really anyone's fault but Norv and Cam together has yet to work out.

The announcer said that they would send CMC out wide to read the defense, then bring him back and run the play. And still had 20 seconds on the playclock.

What do you mean?  Like getting Cam to throw the ball with some accuracy and touch?  They didnt do anything different yesterday than what theyve done with Cam, its just that Allen appears to be the much more accurate QB these days.

Agreed, Kyle should know the playbook pretty well at this point.

And Cam always does that thing where he goes down on one knee in the huddle to call the play (which in itself is fine) but then when they break he seems to take his sweet time standing up sometimes and slowly walks up to the line.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
