Dude looked like his head wasn’t in the game, no way it’s close if he does his job. Hopefully he got it out of his system.

Was waiting on everyone to come in here and bash him like they do Gano but a win tends to give people short memories. I am rooting for the guy as he will be a cheap alternative but he’s gotta be better than today.

The missed field goals were not his fault.  I'm not sure any kicker in the league would have hit either one.  If anything, it was impressive on the 2nd one that he had the awareness to avoid another block.  He went 80% on extra points and was probably a little worried about being blocked again.  The line needs to get better because this is how you ruin a good kicker.

There was nothing difficult about the one he missed

The line collapsed on both.  If he kicked that 2nd field goal straight, it would have been blocked again.  If you are referring to the extra point, what do you expect from a rookie kicker who just had the line collapse on you 2 times in a row?

The last kick he made was close, I was afraid I saw a problem creeping in right there and yep.

You can see these guys starting to drift, when they have those kicks drawing or leaking and almost miss, and then they adjust. The adjustments are usually when full blown out of whack starts.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
