Dude looked like his head wasn’t in the game, no way it’s close if he does his job. Hopefully he got it out of his system.

Was waiting on everyone to come in here and bash him like they do Gano but a win tends to give people short memories. I am rooting for the guy as he will be a cheap alternative but he’s gotta be better than today.

The missed field goals were not his fault.  I'm not sure any kicker in the league would have hit either one.  If anything, it was impressive on the 2nd one that he had the awareness to avoid another block.  He went 80% on extra points and was probably a little worried about being blocked again.  The line needs to get better because this is how you ruin a good kicker.

There was nothing difficult about the one he missed

The line collapsed on both.  If he kicked that 2nd field goal straight, it would have been blocked again.  If you are referring to the extra point, what do you expect from a rookie kicker who just had the line collapse on you 2 times in a row?

The last kick he made was close, I was afraid I saw a problem creeping in right there and yep.

You can see these guys starting to drift, when they have those kicks drawing or leaking and almost miss, and then they adjust. The adjustments are usually when full blown out of whack starts.

    • I love Lemon or KC with a trade down. But surely we wouldn't draft another WR in the first.
    • me too, Ive only just drove in and Im did not follow college ball hardcore. Im a current normie. *after a couple hours of digging, it does feel weak after the second round compared to other recent ones. Only good part thus far, I think Panthers will have a shot at drafting a LT in either round 1 or 2. If you want a edge, you better either pray one falls to 19 or trade up. Using the panthers 3rd they can get in front of TB at pick 13/14. I don't think its worth it tho.  Just feels like, yea BPA and all that*****BUT the draft value is following- 1- edge 2- LT 3- ILB 4- TE 5- C 5- S 6- BPA/QB/LB/WR/NB/punter
    • true, just he was there. fanspeak was sold this past year, maybe they dropped off. Im trying to find replacement and some still have the Panthers 7th...thats the viking pick now.  Boards are everywhere too on ranking. I've seen a few with 40 ranks and in the 90s on others. About the only agreed is QB 1.
