he looks like channing tatum kinda, got the ears and all.   magic kyle the baby goat.   i'm gonna take him at his word about cam.  seemed legit and its awesome.  he did say in reference to cam - healthy at some point - doesn't exactly sound like after the bye but who knows

I'm not sure the staff would be sharing Cam's timeline with Allen anyway. They probably want to try to avoid having him looking over his shoulder and just trying to keep him in the moment and taking it week by week.

Excellent point. We need Allen with the mindset that he is the starter for the rest of the year.

That being said, for the rest of us with any objectivity, we know we will need Cam for a playoff run.

Regardless of anything, this is the best day as a Panthers fan since the Ravens game last year.

I dont know how this year ends up, but I'm going to try to enjoy the ride.

I'm glad there are at least some fans who can appreciate what Kyle has done while still wanting Cam back as soon as possible.

The more of these dumb trolls we can squash, the better. It would be nice to close up the Tinderbox so we would get a lot less of that stupidity in here.

Tinderbox is honestly the worst thing about this board. It creates a negative environment where people get catty towards each other outside of the TB based off of what they post about on the TB

I just wish I could be a fly in the room as the legion of posters like @thebigcat and @tgrfan01 watched 3:30 - 4:15.

What exactly do you expect him to say there?

"Uhh yeah, me and Cam don't get along.  I don't think he cares about football"????

Of course, he's going to say the standard answer.  It's what professionals do.

Mmmm... here come those mental gymnastics I alluded to earlier.

100% agree. It has almost completely ruined this board.

It's why I've pretty much abandoned the TB as of recently. The overall forum would be better off without it.

You are just trying to stir the pot by ignoring my question.  Typical for someone who is looking to cause trouble.

Like I said, what do you expect Kyle Allen to say when asked how is his relationship with Cam?  In fact, remove Kyle Allen and Cam from the equation.  What do you expect any backup QB to say when asked about their relationship with the injured starting QB?

Point is, that what he said means nothing. zilch. nada.  He isn't trying to ruffle feathers or cause controversy.  His answer is intended to answer without providing any information.

Calling my opinion mental gymnastics is just a form of stirring the pot and something that seems pretty common among the "elite" of this board.

Watch his initial facial reaction. It says it all. Like he had to hold his tongue not to blurt out "WTF?!"

Purge it, wipe it, destroy it.

Being friends over football beats being enemies in political banter.

TB dehumanizes and makes for a cesspool of brother against brother.

It is not healthy at all.

I barely just started posting in the main after a long time off.

Between my mom dying on my wife's bday and getting trolled over it, I was in a bad place but I am better now.

I love my Panthers and the interaction on the football forum.

I just want fugging politics off of this board. This is my escape like many here for one reason, the love for our team.

The point was never WHAT he said. Obviously what he said is standard professionalism. The point, which you seem to be willfully overlooking or in denial about it is his overall reaction to the question. You can say the same words regardless, but whether you convey conviction or lip service is the difference.
