99 yard drive in 1st qtr.

Really surprised no one is talking about the 99 yard drive the Panthers had in first quarter to make it 10-0... Was Kyle Allen perfect on that drive, like 4 for 4, or 5 for 5? Not sure, but he looked very poised while being pinned deep like that, I'm surprised no one has really said anything about that drive. That was probably the most impressive offensive series/drive the Panthers have had all season long.

It was a thing of beauty.

12-plays, 99-yards, burned 7:32 of clock.

The QB7 & CMC show....just what the Brits paid to see.

On the drive QB7 completed 5 consecutive passes for 6yds, 16yds, 2yds, 21yds & 23yds, in that order.

Even better, four different players caught balls on the drive...Moore (2)...Olsen...CMC...Samuel.

One heckuva job of game management there...

Definitely a confidence builder for Allen moving forward and the offense as a whole. Seriously, the Bucs defense is a good defense, and this was a period in the game where the Bucs confidence was still high. Panthers had the interception on the first play of the game, but the Bucs felt like it was still anyone's game at that point. I was really impressed with the way Allen commanded the offense during this drive, this is a case in point of Allen improving from week to week.

People are to busy discounting him and saying 2015 Newton will be returning.

Dang! If 2015 Cam shows up with the weapons this team has on offense now... Talk about a new generation of "The Greatest Show on Turf". The Panthers would be unstoppable on offense, I guess we can dream, but I'm not holding my breath. Seriously though, if Cam can truly come back healthy and play at the level he's capable of it makes this team deadly... We just haven't seen that Cam in a long time and if Kyle Allen beats the 49ers and looks good doing it, do you take that chance?

His name is Undefeated, not QB7

That drive was a major turning point in the game.  The Bucs defense survives the first interception to force a field goal, then has us standing in our own end zone.  They had to be thinking it was going to become a 3-2 game or they were going to give their offense the ball back in great field position.  If their thought was "this is going to be good," they were right....just not the way they thought.

I don't think their defense ever recovered from that drive.  They went from being aggressive to looking like they were on their heels the rest of the way.  It was like they realized they could stop CMC and still not win the game.

    • Well, the whole rationale used  for the high IQ point guard is it would allow us to spend our resources elsewhere….instead it’s all our first rounders ever since to support the bad pick.  Reality is our front office is just bad.  If you wanted Bryce Young you were going to need to do something unique and special for him.  Instead we just insert a QB with traditional tools into old NFL concepts that pair with traditional talent and our pass game is whack
    • Good to see some other folks are speaking the same language on this. It's simple common sense. But it seems like there's a disconnect due to the misplaced value the team has put on Thielen because he was the only vaguely good veteran WR willing to sign with the Panthers after we traded away DJ Moore. That time has come and gone. We have two first round WR's on the roster now.
    • Yeah I’m turning this into a Bryce can’t play QB thread. Just stating that offense was a poo show two years ago. No QB is succeeding in that, much less a rookie. I feel like it’s become a common debate strategy on here to just jump down the rabbit hole of saying he is just bad in so many ways when any certain point gets countered. If that doesn’t work we can deflect to how poorly this team has been ran. In regards to the actual point we are debating, the OL was struggling, half of the skill players aren’t on a roster, Mingo has done nothing with his new team and the staff are either not coaching or on their 3rd team in 3 years, aside from McCown (I liked McCown too). Honestly about as bad as it gets. No need to try to state how good of an offense it was billed it because that has been proven false at this point.
