Opinions: OL is terrible, Newton should sit the rest of season

Opinions please. The Oline is still terrible and the coaching staff has no clue what to do. They keep trying to put round pegs into square holes. The play calling is abysmal and isn't helping at all.

Best thing to do is keep Allen in and don't allow Cam to get killed again by this Oline. He has a year left on his contract. Give him almost a full season/off season to heal. Tepper needs to take control of the situation in the off season and hire coaches/GM who will rebuilt this trainwreck.

This team has no shot at a SB this year and probably a one and out if they somehow make the playoffs. Let Allen (or Grier) finish the season and start fresh next year with Cam hopefully a new staff and new outlook.....what u got?

Well then Tepper should open a mouth and read them the riot act. I'm sure being a business man he wouldn't stand for this in any of his other interests.

They're not paying Cam 20 million dollars this year to sit the bench when he is healthy.

Wrong...says all that needs to be said. You don't put your franchise QB in that situation when the chances of him getting reinjured are very high.

We ran into a buzz saw. That is the best D we will see this year. There is a lack of talent at certain positions. All you have to do is watch the video of Daryl Williams getting thrown around like an 1980’s rag doll to know it. Mr Scott is right, this is probably the end for Rivera and Company.

At this rate he gets injured next year anyway.  What’s the difference?  RR and the boys have to go all in with what they got this year.  They might not have a chance here next year.

      Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy

      Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
