Tepper was "very frustrated" losing to Falcons

Yeah, because he was such a huge attraction before he got the Carolina job.

Just add 9 years of utter mediocrity and total lack of imagination and innovation on top of that and what other team WOULDN'T want such an attractive candidate!

Exactly.

Ron was turned down by numerous teams before JR was dumb enough to give him the job. A lot of people's hate for Cam is what is fueling this "Ron is a good coach" narrative just to avoid giving Cam his proper credit.

The safe thinking is that Tepper won't make a rash decision and fire Rivera mid season.

However, the stink of this season could very well bleed into next given the amount of complacency and acceptance of embarrassing losses continues.

Isn't this exactly how we were all feeling about this time last year too?

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
