Our field goal attempt is why Rivera needs to go...

Game is tied. 1st and goal at the three...we stuck it up three plays in a row. Now as head coach with your team sitting at 5-5, playoffs on the line, on the road against your division rival who has only lost two games all year, knowing your kicker is struggling bad, you attempt to kick the field goal instead of going for the TD. We all know that if you score a touchdown,  the odds are extremely low that the saints come back to tie, not to mention the odds are very good that they march down and get a field goal to tie even if he makes it because we have a turd defense (that he is calling plays for). Ron Rivera has a Losers mentality and needs to go. He is a solid coach but will not take us to a championship, and if you know that then you need to find someone who gives you a chance. 31-34-1 in games decided by a touchdown or less. He is Jeff Fisher 2.0

Of all things this is not the reason. He goes for it and misses and you are making the same thread the other way  That's a fact.

The team played up to the competition and lost because the kicker is terrible when people were hoping to get blown out. That's not on coaching.

No we then talk about how you can’t get 3 yards in 4 plays.

3 yards in the redzone with a battered and bad o-line is infinitely harder to obtain than 3 yards anywhere else.

We don't have redzone options.

You take the three there in that situation.

So you trust our defense to stop them from getting in field goal range over CMC getting the ball 4 times straight to get 3 yards?

Crazy because last week he went for some questionable 4th down plays..wherein...I feld he was fighting for his job!  This week...not so much!

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
