Everything Kaepernick is doing is based on his Nike contract/Nike Ad campaign and buzz for the December release of his new shoe. How naive must anyone be to think otherwise.

Nothing to gain.  I mean, the only gain is winning meaningless games.  Which serves no real purpose. 

Remaining games serve more purpose in developing our future backup QB.  Whether that is Allen or finally giving Grier some work.

Lets say that Kaepernick is good (something I disagree with), say he can win out for us...You know we're still not making the playoffs right?  If you think he's good, you don't sign him because he'll fug up your draft position.  If he isn't good, then you don't sign him because he takes reps away from young players that you need to see what they have.  So...no, we should not sign him unless you can time travel back to the bye week.
