Yeah I don't see Ron's bland personality being what Jones wants. He likes him a young, golden boy.

I can see Riley, but I also can't.  Riley is a hot young name out there, the one everyone wants for his football mind...  so would he want to take a job where he essentially becomes a puppet to Jerry's compulsions?  Doubt it.  Yeah, it's a glamorous job, but at what cost?

Whereas Ron would have no problem being the hood ornament.  He did it here for how many years?  It pays well and requires little except for saying "it's a process" and "missed opportunities more so than anything," every week.

LOLz. Please shake down this way. I couldn't wait to play them. He literally keeps other teams in the game because 'strategy'.

Rivera would be best served by taking a year or two as DC under someone competent. I can absolutely see him getting back into the HC position ASAP but then I wouldn't expect much positive change from Ron which would be sad and yet unexpected.

I think that is going to depend on what OU offers, TBH. Riley can get NFL money in college and not have to deal with the same level of pressure. It's going to come down to whether Riley is one of those guys that wants to compete and succeed at the highest level or is very happy being in college.
