Its just crazy how much love the national media has for Rivera right now after years of saying nothing and you rest assured if he flames out at his next job no one is will say a thing

I mean, it's pretty tough to cover the entire league and be truly informed. I've said before that's why I tend to find sources that are only assigned to one team informative.

Even that's not perfect, though.

We traded the number one to Cincy in 95 for the number five pick and some others. They got Ki-Jana Carter who got injured in preseason and I'm not sure ever played a single down. We got Kerry Collins who looked okay for a year or two then decided his heart wasn't in it...at least not playing for us.

Boy, was that a productive trade.

pretty sure the point of that post was that any coach losing their franchise qb when our backups were horrible would tend to make the stats dip, alas, reading comprension isnt really this board's strong suit.

Ron has three division titles in a row and so do "we" the Panthers. The Panthers have three division titles in a row and were the first to do it ever in one of the most competitive divisions in football for a decade. It's a big part of the legacy of this era of this team. Every team that year was having a rough year and our coach was the only one who could rally his team to go and win the division when it was that wide open. So, I guess if you want to take that away from him then go ahead and hand the 2014 division title to the Falcons or the Saints... because... you're a smirking smartass? Because you don't take pride in the team you supposedly support? Go fug yourself guy and maybe get a clue.
