F**k you, Florio

The Cardinals are on a strange sort of roller coaster. When everyone thinks they're good, they play poorly. When everyone thinks they're bad, they make us all look stupid. (Or, as in our specific case, stupider than usual.)

So after they did what they couldn't do last year -- win in the Meadowlands -- many thought that the Cardinals were ready to contend again for the NFC title.

And then they lost at home to one of the worst teams in the conference.

By my count, 8 NFC teams not counting the cardinals have played worse than us recently.

Lions

Packers

Bucs

Giants

Redskins

Niners

Seahawks

Rams

That's half the conference.

It's laughable that you think that the Packers, Giants and Niners wouldn't tax our asses if they played right now.

We were statistically one of the worst. The cardinals were not. And we did loose to the Bills at home. Still to call the Panthers one of the the worst teams so early in the season is jounalistic sensationalism at its worst. We arent the Lions for f'n sake...

I will say this. The loss to the Bills will haunt us from now till season's end. A horrific coaching job that game was.

Calling it like I see it; those teams have all played below the panthers mediocrity line (PML) for the last 3 weeks.

until the panthers prove otherwise, yesterday was a fluke/aberration.

I wouldn't say one of the worst, more of a middle of the pack team, the worse teams would be Tampa, detroit, St. Louis, and the redskins.

I also think we are a better team then the Seahawks and maybe even the bears.

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
