Are you this dismissive because it's the Bengals or because it's Belichick?

1.  There's no need to cheat against the Bengals.  Both Belichicks, McDaniels and Judge could all take the week off and Patriots still win easily.

2.  If any coach in the NFL concept of risk vs. reward it is Bill Belichick.  There is zero reward for doing something like what is being suggested against the Bengals....as such Belichick would not take the risk.

Prepare yourself to be disappointed with the outcome of the "investigation"...LOL.

that is a dumb analogy.  what if your crack addict cousin runs a shop and his employee is the one with the TV in his hands?  you obviously suspect your cousin but you need more proof.

Okay, you don’t like the analogy, fine let’s dispense with it and be more direct.

The Patriots under Bellichek have been caught cheating, including this specific type of cheating in the past. Anyone who believes his claim he didn’t know anything about it is a gullible or self deluding idiot, and that claim should in no way be taken seriously by anyone else.

Its absolutely believable that he would cheat, even against the Bengels. Brady is showing his age and NE needs a bye and home field advantage. This isnt about winning a single game, its about putting the team in the best position to go to the SB again.

On a side note, fug BB, fug Brady, fug Kraft. No HoF, vacate SB wins and force Kraft to sell the team.

On a side note #2, if its found that the NFL has known about this and allowed it, could it be considered point shaving of some sort.

I don't think you believe the guy, but I think you continue to investigate.  If these people are dumb enough to wear Boston gear and do this in plain sight, the idea that Belicheck has deviously employed failsafe measures to secretly record the worst team he'll face all year in a completely untracable way doesn't make much sense.

Shannon Sharpe has come out saying BB should be banned from the league.

if any evidence comes to light that he instructed the filming of a sideline, I agree.  I don't think you can do that from just what we know for sure so far.

Yeah but some other thoughts notice how BB doesn’t like other people moving to other teams. In fact he tries and has successfully blocked people from doing so.

BB basically runs a mafia style football organization. The NFL better do something about it and I really hope they find enough evidence.

The Patriots will be asking us to accept that these guys just filmed signals from the Bengals sideline for no reason.

It's been a long time since I was naive enough to believe something like that.

It makes complete sense. Cheating is something you do because you fundamentally don’t respect the idea of fair play and winning is more important to you than integrity. Normal people will often succumb to the temptation to cheat when they perceive the risk to be slight and they have a lot on the line. Habitual cheaters (and it’s not up for debate that Bellicheck is one) cheat out of habit. Their cheating is a form of sneering disdain for their competitors and they don’t do it because they think they need to to succeed but because in their arrogance they see themselves as above the rules and accountability and they don’t think anyone is smart enough to catch them.

Thus they cheat out of habit against an opponent they don’t need to to defeat but because it’s their own private eff you to everyone else, whom they view as beneath them. This is Bellicheat, and this is why despite all his brilliance I have zero respect for him as a human being. He’s an asshole who should be banned for life, end of story.

He is a complete dick.  The way he refuses to allow staff to seek other positions is insane.  But it isn't a reason to ban him.

You can't take an action like banning a coach without direct evidence that he was involved.  As of right now, there is only speculation he is.  There is reason to believe, from his past actions, he could be - maybe even likely is - involved.  But you can't ban him for that.  All we know right now is that a single video was made by Patriots contractors that were not at all hiding who they were, that video filmed sidelines and thus broke rules, and that only 1 of the 2 teams in the game consented to a filming crew at all.  We believe there is more here, and if there is, I think it will come out.  And when it does, there must be swift action taken against the repeat offenders.

I didn’t say it was. But things like this make you go hmmm. And give you a clearer picture what the organization is about. That they do shady poo and they try to keep their employees so they don’t have another Eric mangini situation.

mob bosses did poo like this. They give orders to do crimes with barely any way for it to get back to them. The lowly pawns get the blame and they move on unaffected.

The dude did it. The entire org are cheaters, everyone knows it. I mean definitive evidence or not everyone knows they are cheaters.
