Good lord....Lol

Right to think that fans want to keep a franchise QB who could be healthy yet you and Igo are instantly shipping him off.

I don’t live in the Carolinas and see other fan bases and they aren’t near as poo as this one

Fans aren’t saying that it’s impossible for him to not be here next year but unless we get a ransom why the fug would any fan want him gone? Serious question? Answer that much

Quote where I said I want him gone or where I said he’s 100% gone. The guy is literally my favorite Panther ever. Your emotional outburst wasn’t necessary

It’s not emotional at all. The tweet reads as Tepper is evaluating every aspect but if we don’t get what he feels is value for Cam he will be playing next year. Simple as that and I’m guessing he values Cam as a top tier QB like most would as well.

You said taking the tweet as Cam could be/will be around next year was wrong. Let’s not mince words and hide behind conjecture when someone calls you out. poo is insane to see. Oh, you never answered my question either.

Yes taking the Tweet as a definitive Cam will be back is absolutely wrong. That’s what I said.  Stupid poo like this is why I don’t post here anymore.

I don’t think anyone is actually taking it as 100% Cam will be back, if you think that then they trolled you well.

Right now no one knows, but the team has like 5 options realistically and 2 of them involve keeping Cam. Yet anyone who takes this as a sign of hope is wrong...look at other posts and then you’ll see why people are responding the way they are. We want to see this team succeed, unless we get a great haul for Cam it’s in the team’s interest to hang on to him and see what he can do no more no less.

But please keep fighting logic and reason.

If this thread is "stupid poo that keeps you from posting here" I can only imagine the white hot rage you get reading this shite

It's amazing how many people still don't get the entire point. Too much emotion involved I guess

No emotion on my part. I just think it'd be foolish to not give Cam a real chance to get healthy before giving up on him. He's too valuable of a commodity, if not to the Panthers, then to a ton of other teams - especially if he appears to be healthy.

I mean the young man has rushed back from surgery and even played injured over the better part of 3 seasons. The team finally gives him time to get healthy (shoulder, the foot will heal in a few months), and they should flat out release him to save cap space? High draft picks are much much more valuable than cap.

I just don't think it would be prudent. It could be a move the team regrets for very long time.

Anyone who thinks this according to some “fans” just don’t get it and we’re all lost. I’m 100% with you in that thinking.

    • Yeah and I am doubtful he can offer that consistently. I don’t have many years left at my age and in my view we have wasted two and this whole exercise with him was always a three year minimum.  I am out on that with a guy I don’t believe in, and never believed in, it has sucked. To me it is a costly detour off the right track. Years.    But I am not so rigid that I can’t see excellence. He needs to display it though, consistently before I change my outlook.
    • No, when I said rage, I meant rage, which only applies to certain fans on this board. Your timeline of trying to assess whether he is the future or not is really tied to the discussions surrounding his second contract. If this team is going to commit to some monster contract while he has shown nothing but glimpses of brilliance would be deservedly worrisome, so the clock is genuinely ticking for him to settle into something resembling his final form. Perhaps a best case scenario is that he plays well, the team succeeds, but he does so with a more limited role that makes the rest of the league view him as a game manager, and his second contract value reflects that. Then he continues to improve and becomes a bargain comparatively while not handicapping the team around him, and we enter an era of consistent championship competitiveness that the fanbase has craved for decades and has never really experienced before. But that requires many, many things to go right and for Bryce himself to facilitate that if he ends up being the quarterback of the future.
    • Exactly. And the flame throwers as well, get location benefits from not going all out. But they have it in reserve.  Not sure how much Greg had but he was an artist.  There was a YouTube I came across last year or maybe even 2023 and I don’t how to even find now but it had two NFL QBs I want say one was Carr from the Raiders but I don’t really remember  The point of it is they stood side by side throwing identical distances to identical targets. Radar gun was used.  They threw the normal effort (not all out) and it was measured etc. Then they were asked to throw their ‘fastball’. They were missing and most often they were missing high. It demonstrated the same principle.    edit: and applying that to arm strength, give me the guy that doesn’t need max effort to have good velocity. The margins are so narrow with less velocity in tne NFL the defenders can Close on it and this is a league where they value down to the 100th of a second level. It is that tight
