Kyle Allen Only Struggles Because of the OL

Ok guys here is the deal. When Kyle Allen first started Norv setup plays where his first read was the go to, fire receiver, or hot route. As other teams got tape and saw his tenancies, they began to take the quick routes away, this led to Kyle having to hit his third or fourth option. He quickly learned that his line will not give him that amount of time. Now Kyle has a clock in his head, that’s where the interceptions are coming from. It takes a couple of years to develop a QB. I still think he will be a good to serviceable QB. This line is bad because pressure comes from all sides. The game is still too fast for Kyle. Do not expect a miracle Sunday. Maybe Will can have some success in the short range game. Overall I’m hoping for better draft position.

Teams got Tape?  I see Allen voluntary throwing into triple coverage rather than looking for someone wide open.  He can have zero Int’s if he acquires the skill of handling this specific scenario properly.   I do think he got hit one too many times so maybe a timeout is just what he needs.

Once again I ask is when does a QB ever get the perfect situation. It is more likely that Allen face these challenges again and again and this is the NFL. Rarely do teams wait for their un-drafted second year QB to develop, especially when there is a good chance we pick inside the top 12/15 for the next couple years.

Yeah throwing into double or triple coverage when he has time, under throwing deep balls, and when he's not fumbling the ball after a lineman puts a hand on him, he's fumbling snaps and handoffs. He's just not good.

The hype was never real and in the end, there is a difference in winning games and not losing them. Well, the truth is evident about the whole Allen delima. Just like our LT situation, they have earned a right to compete but the team should have seen enough to recognize that they shouldn't hesitate to make a move to get better if it presents itself.

Bingo, I can guarantee when he saw the coverage it wasn’t double or triple coverage. This is how NFL teams adjust to every player. Safeties can read eyes and tenancies. Yes there is tape on Kyle. After this week there will be tape on Will Grier. It almost always takes two to three years to mature a NFL QB, because he has to change his tenancies, to force other teams to adjust. That is the game within a game.

Imagine completely ignoring cams elite pocket presence and mobility and saying that a line that had Byron fuging bell, amini, and a converted te/dt Nate chandler on your line was better than this year. Dude is smoking crack.

IDK about elite pocket presence but he definitely helped masked our terrible oline

But "experts" told me Kyle Allen sucks only because of the OLine and that Cam just puts towels on his head.....

In my vast years as a football fan, I have found its very hard to compete a pass while getting sacked/pressured. Allen is among leaders in many categories- pressure, sacked, and hurries.

Hed gotten David Carr before our eyes.

I can not stand these pieces of poo here that hate him due to the fact some other posters liked him, how fuging sorry of ALL of you.

People admittedly rooted against him and maybe are satisfied now that he is benched and the team doesn’t have a starting QB again.

We didn't have a starting caliber QB in the first place. That's what the bulk of us were trying to say the whole time, to pump the brakes on the coronation of the next great Panthers QB. It wasn't happening and it didn't happen.

Imagine rooting against a player on your favorite team, cause a poster politically disagreed with you liked them. REALLY?!?!
