I will disown the team if they hire him. Tepper cannot be dumb enough to do that. Rooney rule? Maybe?

Who knows.

“As these things tend to go following an in-season firing, Carolina has not won a game under Fewell, and has looked rather bad in losing those three contests by a combined margin of 108-50.”

from the article.

This guy could barely win with Aaron Rogers as his Qb. Imagine him coming here with Jack poo as a QB. No thanks

I know people keep saying this but think about all the top qbs in the league. Brady is the only one with multiple. Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben, Russell Wilson, etc. all have only won 1 with 1 coach.

i think the biggest stat to look at is what @Cracka McNasty said. No Super bowl winning coach has won another super bowl with another team. That’s a little more scary to me.

It shouldn’t be.  It’s meaningless.  How many SB Winning Coaches move on to a 2nd team?  It’s not like there’s a lot of them

The sample size is simply far too small to think of it as anything more than a meaningless fact.

Checking off the Rooney Rule box. Unless Fewell miraculously beats the Saints this week, he showed nothing to inspire a broken team.  If anything, it looks like they've already packed it in for the year.

You know I just realized, Tepper needs to start treating this team like it’s someone else money he’s managing. They trust him with money, he delivers success.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
