As mediocre as Rivera/Gettleman/and his support casting was, all we had to was fire Mike Shula and we'd have beaten the Broncos in SB50

this isn't true at all.   rivera saw the offense working on new plays out of familiar formations for the superbowl and told shula to stop it, to halt the installation of new plays out of old looks because what we were doing was working.  rivera made shula stop.  he admitted this himself after the superbowl.    rivera is the reason denver knew exactly what we were going to do.   that's what rivera wanted, for us to beat denver even though they knew exactly what was coming.   obviously it was stupid, but that's rivera for you.   btw seen you mention this a few times and didn't feel like correcting it til this morning

Cam bout to take his granny scarf game to a new level in 2020

i mean if we're stomping ass it would be awesome if he did his pressers in a dress.  that would truly be one of the greatest things to ever happen

I miss huge Cam. He just looked more imposing at 250+ lbs. Does that mean he can’t be great at whatever he weighs now? No, but he just LOOKED like a monster back then.

This is true. Though I was really curious to see how Cam would have looked like this past season. He slimmed down a lot and I was wondering if that would have made him a little faster than he's been in years past.

Is Cam using the word "Mediocre" as a jab?

The person who first used that word was Tepper.

How could this be toward the old coaching staff unless he is agreeing with Tepper?

What evidence is there that he had a beef with the old staff?

To me, this is about Tepper---if it is a critical comment, maybe he is taking a shot because he knows more about his fate in Carolina than we do.

One theory---that is all.  Cam is a bit odd, so trying to figure him out is a waste of time.

i had a thought it could be the beginning of some new ad campaign, if not it sure seems like a shot at someone

    • Everyone (I'm not just focusing on you sir) seems to think that trade set the team back for a decade. It really didn't. Scott F was a terrible GM. I do not think for one minute that we would have turned those trades into draft gold. All you have to do is look at this draft record. Fitterer had the top pick in the 2023 draft and blew it. We've passed over players we could have used in each of his drafts to trade down and pick up gems like TMJ 🙄. Other times he'd trade up a pick gems like Matt Corrall and DJ Johnson 🙄. He probably would have used those picks to acquire more picks in lower rounds  and choose the players with the highest RAS scores. I think the season before Burns left he literally had about 1/3 of our sacks. I said it would be a bad idea to not resign him if you didn't have a player (or players) on the roster to replace that production. To this day we still don't have a consistent pass rusher off the edge on either side. Our lack of of a pass rush is arguably our biggest weakness on defense.
