Brown's home is located in a gated community in Hollywood where multiple neighbors told ESPN they've been fed up with the antics coming from the Brown home.

Last week, Brown's agent Drew Rosenhaus conditionally terminated his relationship with him until the wide receiver seeks counseling, an NFL Players Association source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Rosenhaus wrote in a letter the NFLPA received Thursday that he would like to work with Brown, but not until he first gets help.

Good grief...starting to feel bad for him.  He needs mental help.

The only way he will get it is if it's against his will.  Sadly it will probably take him getting locked up to get help.  At the rate he's going it most likely won't be long.

I do not know.

hard as it is to believe, a former player said on tv the other day that the scene cussing at the cops and his kids mom reminded him of junior seau not too long before he committed suicide.  hard to even know if that's really antonio brown in there any more.

Unfortunately, too often, getting locked up does not lead to getting any help, especially for mental illness, no matter how much money you have. It's unfortunately one of the many failings of the incarceration system.

This is also true.

There’s something coming that’s in trials with soldiers right now that is having huge success.

It will probably still be awhile before it’s made readily available though unfortunately

do you have a link where i could read about it?  i saw the one thing where they're opening the flow of fluid at the base of the back of the neck, but i don't know how much promise it is showing

Ugh. It’s stuff like this that makes you mad that a guy like Burfict isn’t thrown out of the league immediately instead of years later. That POS may have literally changed Brown’s life for the worse.

Eh, it's not any one hit that does this to a person, CTE stands for Chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Chronic meaning repeated head injuries.

While one bad concussion can really mess you up, CTE is the result of many many smaller blows to the head. Positions like lineman and LBers are at the highest risk of CTE due to how often they bash their heads against another player. It's honestly probably why Luke retired.

Signs and symptoms[edit]

Symptoms of CTE, which occur in four stages, generally appear eight to ten years after an individual experiences repetitive mild traumatic brain injuries.[5]

First-stage symptoms include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder as well as confusion, disorientation, dizziness, and headaches. Second-stage symptoms include memory loss, social instability, impulsive behavior, and poor judgment. Third and fourth stages include progressive dementia, movement disorders, hypomimia, speech impediments, sensory processing disorder, tremors, vertigo, deafness, depression and suicidality.

Additional symptoms include dysarthria, dysphagia, cognitive disorders such as amnesia, and ocular abnormalities, such as ptosis.[6]

The condition manifests as dementia, or declining mental ability, problems with memory, dizzy spells or lack of balance to the point of not being able to walk under one's own power for a short time and/or Parkinsonism, or tremors and lack of coordination. It can also cause speech problems and an unsteady gait. Patients with CTE may be prone to inappropriate or explosive behavior and may display pathological jealousy or paranoia.[7]

If Brown has CTE, it wasn't because of the Burfict hit, it would have been due to numerous hits he sustained over the years.

Sidenote: I really really hope Luke isn't experiencing any of the first stage symptoms of CTE. If his health was truly the reason he retired, I hope he lives a long, healthy, pain free life.

    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
