"This organization see's Moore as a #2 WR"

I like DJ, but agree. Not a #1, but great #2. You have to be able to not only be productive, but do it under a double team. He’s not going to take a defense’s focus away from someone like Samuel, but if you add a Jeudy, you not only make DJ AND Samuel better, you make CMac better also.

Depends on your definition of #1, i agree with moore being thought of as a #2. Mainly cause I feel there are only about 5 true 1s in the game. A true #1 WR is like a true LT, all team are looking and if you find one pay him.

Moore is so young, if he continues getting better maybe he can become a legit 1.

Plus this is "smitty being smitty" stuff. He was a fan of moore, then he didnt like his calm personality, so now hes back to being old smitty.

Technically until other wise he is definatly #1 on the depth chart and our best WR.

Unless it's about motivating him,  I don't see a positive with this BS. This is the guy that Smith said was his spirit animal? He sure has taken to the talking head tv persona position well.

Seems like Smitty makes a point of calling out DJ Moore every week, which is starting to sound like sour grapes than an objective critique. I love Smitty, but come on man, you're still #1 in our hearts, but you gotta let it go and let the young ones get their chance to shine.

DESPITE not having a healthy #1 QB throwing to him every year he's been in the league. With 3 QB's in 2019 he got 87 - 1,175 and 4 TD's. I'll take that.

I think people have a misconception sometimes with being emotional and having a big mouth that it equals talent. From what I can recall, only Randy Moss and Smitty could truly backup their trash talk, but think about some of the others in recent memory: Dez Bryant? Gone. Antonio Brown? Gone. Odell Beckham? Giants didn't wanna pay him for the headache, and the Browns didn't even want to throw to him half the time because of his pouting.

But you know the ones who just let their actions do the talking? Larry Fitzgerald, Isaac Bruce, Marvin Harrison.

So just let DJ be DJ and watch him grow.

Moore would be a perfect #2 if we could find a beast #1. A Julio Jones type who has to be double teamed. Pipe dream I know but maybe like a Colin Johnson. Or a rookie Kelvin Johnson before he stopped caring and got pudgy.

Who?

Does anyone think Robby Anderson is a real target this offseason or is that a pipe dream?

I think he is more of a #2 than DJ. Four years into his NFL career. He will basically get you 50 catches and 770ish yards a year. DJ already is better than him so adding Anderson doesn't solve the whole "we need a real #1" story people are running with here. Dude is going to be a 23 year old third year player who went over 1k yards with a bottom tier nfl qb last year.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
