I'm curious to see what happens when too many people start losing everything they have worked for and collectively say we will take our chances and get back to work......man this is a tough mess.

Then they go to jail and become quarantined anyway.

I'm not sure I understand. Garlic is a *potent* antiviral when properly activated.

A potent in vitro anti-viral. There's very little research (everything I've seen points back to one study involving slightly over 100 people and it involved preventing the common cold) that indicates it's effectiveness as an anti-viral when administered orally.

As for copper, yeah it's well known that copper has antimicrobial properties. That means microbes don't survive well on a copper surface. Wearing a copper bracelet is going to accomplish absolutely nothing on that front.

If your  are regularly touching the copper with your hands your are going to minimize self-contamination via hand to face contact.

Bullshit. The coronavirus that causes COVID-19 can survive up to 4 hours on a copper surface so how in the hell is regularly touching copper going to minimize anything?

Hint: It won't.

Mercury was a cure all in the middle ages too.

I don't think there has been conclusive results on how long it can survive on copper -  not that I've seen.

Here you go:

Touching copper is going to do absolutely nothing except infect that copper for up to four hours.

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
