Ok the Panthers are not cutting Cam.

Tepper pretty much said he's too valuable "healthy"

Now here's a thought: Draft night if a QB team doesn't get their guy we have a trade.m

Myfinal thoughts: Rhule said he is trying to create a culture with no name starters, what better way then to add Bridgewater, cause right now we have Qb1 20mil and a newQb1/2 8 mil backup to really challenge the position.

While that would appease the masses that’s highly highly unlikely, more likely if we came out and said we are letting cam find a trade partner and sat pat at qb but the signing of bridgewater followed by the farewell post from the media team is the nail in the coffin.

Belichick and McDaniels actually have the ability to tailor their systems to fit their talents. McDaniels got the Broncos to the playoffs and won a playoff game with TimT_ebow at QB.

1. Cam is too fundamentally unsound to go to NE.

2. The Broncoscwon that game with defense in spite of Teebo

As far as I can tell, the team is operating on Hurney's value system. The one that kept two kickers on the final roster, couldn't get a trade and eventually let go a future pro bowler for a guy who couldn't even make the roster last year before getting IRed while the other player well in the superbowl.

I think there is a real posibiblity they sit Cam on the roster for now. It's not like there is any indication they give a crap about image or reputation or any of that kind of stuff. Just guessing from what i have seen so far

I hate I can't edit, but imagine going into camp with Cam and Bridgewater.

I can’t imagine Cam wanting to play in that scenario. It would be an insult to Cam to make him “compete” with a lesser talent. He’s been the starter for years and will refuse to play.

Cams undefeated against NE. Did it with his arm and legs. They would tailor the offense after him.. BB might be the right guy Cam needs to elevate his game. Build upon what Norv was going.

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
