I'm at peace with all the chaos.

I know many are really frustrated with all the changes, but I expected there to be a great deal of turmoil. Growth can be painful and stressful. But I'm still in the camp that will give Rhule the benefit of the doubt for at least 3 seasons before passing any sort of judgment. It takes time to put your imprint on a team as a leader, and I have no problem giving him that time.

Actually I'm kind of excited about all the upheaval. Things will at least be different, and for me - following and being a fan of this organization since the day 1, different is *NEEDED*.

Maybe I'm a cockeyed optimist like Billy Mumphrey, but I'm feeling good. If any of you want to wallow in misery, that's your prerogative, but I'm excited. I just hope there is a season to be excited for. ;)

I know I dont understand the uproar and confusion.

This offseason has sucked. We lost Luke, Olsen and we just knew that Cam would be next.

We all knew that when Rhule was hired and given a 7 year contract the whole dialog was on building the system. This takes time requires a lot of chage.

So far everything that has been done was foreseen. This should not surprise us. We dont have to like it but we should not be surprised by this.

To be honest, I'm just kinda glad to have something relatively trivial to bicker about other than everything else that's going on right now. It's a good and welcome distraction at the moment.

Couldn’t say it better myself. This site has always been my escape from some of the craziness in the real world, especially now.

Given the state of the division with Brady, Ryan and Brees all being older I would argue that NOW IS THE TIME to rebuild. lets put this painful time behind us now so that when they turn over at the QB position we are in position to take advantage.

This is a very key point.

    • My friend, pretty much stayed at his level for the next 30 years. But he is own boss and happy I guess. Not a bad guy personally.  That is probably Tepper.
    • Banking your hopes on a couch FA that has a cup of tea NFL career to date as an almost 31 year old QB is certainly something. Especially when you consider that he has spent literally zero time in our offense so far. I think that White might be solid competition and possibly be better than Hendon Hooker, which is certainly a very low bar to clear.  That's probably about where the level is for White. He's a potential upgrade to our PS QB.
    • I need to look more into how pass block win rate is calculated. Like, if the other team gets a coverage sack because nobody is open and the guy I am blocking gets free to pressure/sack the QB after 5 seconds, is that considered a pass block "loss"? I honestly don't think our pass blocking has been that bad this year (outside of Nijman at LT week 1 and Zavala for 2 out of 3 games). For the most part, teams aren't getting by with a 4 man rush and are having to blitz. Looks like teamrankings says we are 10th in sacks allowed (1.7/game) - and that isn't because we have a QB getting the ball out at an elitely quick rate.
