I don't recognize this team anymore

I have been a fan since the beginning, I don't recognize this team at all anymore....except for the name. You form a bond with a team over many years.

It takes years to form that allegiance. The way a franchise treats it's players and fans is a factor. I understand players move on and change happens.

I have never had the experience of losing a whole team at once. It is very deflating and hard for me to feel that same bond or allegiance at this time.

Maybe I will regain my fandom for the team in the future, maybe i wont. But the only thing that remains of the team for me is the name.

Just had to vent a bit about this whole cluster fug happening right now.

I feel you.

At this point Tepper should just completely rebrand, name change and all, because this team is not the Carolina Panthers anymore.

He clearly wants to leave a mark with his big brass balls all over everything.

Stop getting emotional attached to players and stop  the personal feelings, it’s unhealthy (and kinda weird)

let them do what they’re going to do an enjoy football, that’s what it is...just football, if it’s more to you that’s very strange

they were 7-9, 5-11 with the status quo

Me either, as soon as they cut Cam im out! I tried to support the new ownership but they lack direction. Tepper may be the richest owner in the NFL, but he hasn't shown good use of his money since he took over. Same ol Panthers. Former players talking down on us is all you need to know.

We have such a wine and cheese crowd fanbase. Good lord, just b*tching.

You have no idea who I am, or what I do or like. I m sure their are many more like me who aren't the "wine and cheese" crowd. I will bitch if I want to, I have paid my dues with this team.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
