4th, 5th, and 6th round prospects you like.. That might fit the team.. Realistically what round are they projected to..

Example

1. Wr. UsC Bryan Edward's 4th or 5th round.. Injury might put him here..

2. James lynch Dt Baylor 5th or 6th round..

3. Leko Futo DT  4th or 5th round..

DeMarkus Acy - CB, Missouri

He reminds me a lot of Dre Kirkpatrick. If it wasn't for some injury issues he's had that have limited him, he'd probably be a potential 1st round pick IMO (Kirkpatrick went #17 overall).

What round is he projected to fall??

Mctelvin Agim - DT Arkansas - 3rd day guy.  Looked really good in Shrine Bowl.  Former DE.  Quick, needs to get stronger

Darnay Holmes -CB UCLA 3rd day guy.  Looked much better in 2018 than 2019.  Got hurt at the first of 2019 and never really played up to his 2018 level.

John Reid - CB Penn State - 3rd day guy.  Little but quick and plays hard.

I never really want to say what round a guy goes because teams view guys so different on the 3rd day.  A 4th round guy for 1 team could be a 6th round guy for another.

Watch out for Rhule taking Lynch SUPER early. That was the first guy he called when he got the Panthers job.

yea unless some team takes him entirely too early I think it's a lock we draft him at some point

A guy that seems to be falling down people's boards is Jason Strobridge out of NC. He could be a 3-4 end, 4-3 end or a small UT. Versatile good a rushing the passer and played his ass off on some BAD UNC defenses.

Yeah, he's a good player. I'm just not exactly sure where he fits in the NFL. I don't think he has the juice to play 4-3 DE and he needs to add a good 20 pounds to hold up as a three technique. 3-4 DE might be his best fit.

We already have enough WRs.

3rd round needs to be a LB or OG (assuming we already drafted a DT and CB)

No we don't.. You can't be in 1 thread talking about what Brady is going to do with this offense.. Then in this one say we have enough WR.. That doesn't add up.. Bradys system needs way more quality WR in it then what we have right now..

    • Like many of the old heads, I’ve been here for a long time.  I got a lot of respect for everyone on this board for your dedication to this team.  We’ve all been through it during the tougher years. At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
    • Hiring Shula & his Cam save us playbook.
    • I would very much liked to have seen Jake Delhomme's career if Tommy Jone no hurt Jake.  I just know that roster and the leadership were destined to hit paydirt but Jake was never the same after the elbow injury, and unfortunately he was the sole reason they didn't make it back to the big one.  I think that 08 team was the best in the league, and Jake masked his inability well all season til the Arizona game put it all on display.  I'll go back to the season prior even and say the 07 team was primed to be a competitor.  Jake was off to a fantastic start that year (for a Panthers QB).  They may have been a championship caliber club for a few seasons after 08 too.
