Panthers willing to trade back?

I wouldn't be opposed to sliding back twice.  Once in the first round and again in the third round.  I looked at this yesterday, comparing BBs and seeing the depth still available in the third round coupled with the fact there are seven teams with multiple third round picks behind us that could move up.

This would be so smart. So so so smart

I agree if Simmons, Brown, or Okudah are off the board or if the trade back would still result in ability to draft a quality DT, LB or CB.

I'm all for it unless Tua's there. With all of the holes in the roster I don't think anybody has franchise-changing potential unless they play QB.

How about if Tua is there and we get call to move up for him?  Take him or get more picks?

If Brown and Simmons are gone and we're not taking a QB, then we should definitely entertain a trade back. If that doesn't work out, despite lots of hollering from fans, we should probably take the best OT on the board.

If this happens, that position is at least as t locked down for a few years. I'd like Simmons, if not, Thomas or similar.

They say we are not interested in QB, I really think they are set with rolling with Teddy but damn we need someone just in case. We will win to many games next year to be able and get top pick for QB next year as well.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
