How good is the panthers offense

This offense has potential to be one of the best offenses in panthers history. We have an mvp in Christian mccaffrey, we got the most dangerous receiving core in the nfl , bet you can’t name a better starting 3 then dj Moore , Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel and now add in a hungry Ian Thomas which has shown potential in the past and I think he will be a break out player. Our offensive is an upgrade over last year only weak point is Pardis in my opinion, Turner was a bad loss but we won That trade because a solid lt is worth more then a solid guard and we upgraded the left tackle spot while added Competition to the guard position right tackle we are solid with Taylor moton . Qb is an upgrade not only over Kyle Allen but cam newton . Teddy Bridgewater is a better qb and a better passer then cam . Sure we all love cam because of 2015 but he was not an accurate passer and not as good fit for Matt rhules pass friendly offense that’s based on timing and accuracy, cam is a big arm and a running qb so it wouldn’t work out anyway.
and the best of all people keep forgetting we have 2 of the best offensive minded coaches from college football in rhule and joe Brady ! They will out scheme a lot of the coaches and will rely on analytics. This is going to be a fun offensive team this season . No doubt about it . We’re not rebuilding this is a playoff team people keep hyping up Tampa and New Orleans but there qbs are old and overrated . We have major potential to surprise the whole nfl and become that next dynasty . I’m expecting a season like the rams had a couple years ago when Sean mcveigh first game . I think we’re a similar team to them .

Remember when we signed Paradis, Irvin and McCoy in free agency then gave Reid a 3 year deal? We won that offseason too. Williams was a great fit at LT and we had finally fixed our Oline, plus we had Little to step in as a 'first round talent'. Good times.

Winning during the season are the only wins that matter, the rest is noise.

I don't agree with everything you said but alot of it I do and I'll give you credit for having original thought and articulating a thread with a positive as opposed to a pessimistic opinion. Pie for you sir!

I think it's going to be a really fun offense.  A really good one?  Yeah I'll wait and see on that until we get a look at the OL.

I'm hoping the oline is much improved but I do believe the scheming will auto improve it. The days of 3rd and short and running 4 verticals is hopefully over ect....

I was with you on CMC. The WR corps made me scratch my head, but I was willing to let it slide cuz maybe they can be special. But you went totally off the rails at QB. Bridgewater is a moderate upgrade over Allen but he’s nowhere remotely close to healthy Cam as a passer or anything else. Until we get a QB, our offense will be ok at best.

I mean our receiving groups is all of a sudden quite good but...consider...

Evans-Godwin-Tyler Johnson

Cooper-Lamb-Gallup

Sutton-Jeudy-Hamler

AJ Green-Boyd-Higgins-Ross

Diggs-John Brown-Gabe Davis

Nuke-Kirk-Fitgerald

Hill-Watkins-Hardman

Will say the OL is looking legit but you're on some serious uppers right meow haha

I think it’s a good upgrade, just pardis might have to step up or Larsen take over center

Curtis is better then Tyler Johnson, Tyler Johnson is a no name , if they had percy harvin then I’ll say they are better . I think the Bucs are overrated. Brady seemed done and he’s up there in age and has to learn a new offense

He’s a better qb then cam as of now . Cams biggest threat was his deep pass but he doesn’t have that anymore . I love cam but we have an upgrade at qb. Teddy is a lot smarter at reading coverages as well and finding the open receiver cam was terrible at finding the open receiver and you can watch old tape were someone was so wide open and cam would force it to a different receiver

    • Actually that 4400 was based on a 16 game season to match Bryce's 16 games this year. Your offense has to be to drive the ball when it matters. Bryce doesn't do that with any level of consistency. If you're building a team that isn't focused on your QB, then fine. Then there's no need to pay Bryce as a franchise QB because literally anyone else will do. If you're going to pay him 50m plus per season, you have to be able to put the team on his shoulders and know he's going to carry the load. So far, when the pressure is on to get it done, Bryce has fallen miserably short of the target. 4-6 to finish out the season and 0-2 when all we need is a win to secure a playoff spot isn't stepping up and proving yourself as a franchise QB. I'd say it's quite the opposite.  There isn't a single coach in this league that would take Bryce over Burrow and very few if any that would take Bryce over Prescott. Hurts didn't have to throw in 2025 because Philly's defense was disgusting and Saquan had a MVP season. But then again, Hurts has shown that he can when it counts, and then there's his signature. Philly runs the tush push to lethal perfection, but that's a play we can't even consider with Bryce. You used 3 QBs from teams that had no defense to show QB stats don't always matter. When we had the worst defense in the NFL, we didn't see Bryce step up and carry the offense and put up gaudy numbers in a losing season because we were playing catch up. It was pretty much the opposite.  What have we seen from Bryce consistently to consider offering him a top 10 NFL franchise QB level contract? At the end of the day, that's all that matters.
    • I mean, what fanbase has high expectations when you have a QB like Bryce leading your team?
    • If you pay Bryce $50M a year you greatly limit your ability to put the type of team around him you need to have to have a chance to win. THAT is the problem. Hell, we can't win with him on a rookie contract. How the hell are we supposed to start winning with him paying him like a franchise QB and having to make tough roster decisions to accommodate his cap hit?
