I'll take ANYONE in the front office at this point with a scouting background.

This is (hopefully) what it looks like to ease Hurney out the door.

True, but I feel a bit of remorse as Hurney crushed this draft.  After bashing him for so long and then, in what could be his final draft, nailed it.  If so, at least he went out on a high note

We don't know that yet.  I liked the draft, but we have no clue if it was good or not, and won't for some time.

The stench left behind from Jerry Richardson won't leave the building until his lap dog is out the door.

What about JR's family members that are still employed as well?

Been following this team since the beginning and my favorite draft to date.  True, this one may not pan out, and nearly all the drafts prior that I disliked--90%, ended up mediocre at best.

Outside of the top pick in the draft, I highly doubt Richardson was in Hurney's ear, especially day 3 picks.  Those flubs are owned by Marty and Marty alone.

You can't fire someone for family ties as long as they are properly doing their job and effectively.  That's selective targeting and a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Don't feel bad...the Hurndog ain't going anywhere anytime soon.

When they win the Super Bowl he'll probably retire but not before then --- time frame is probably 5 years.

I thought they were keeping them around so they had someone to carry off the statue once the stadium is moved?

The only Richardson family member that I know of employed in the front office is Matt Allen, Director of Pro Personnel.

He'd be the guy overseeing free agency under Marty. He's also, I believe, the least experienced scout in the front office. It may not be coincidental that this is the area Tepper identified as Marty's weakness.

To be honest, given the way our free agency has gone for the last few years, I don't think you'd have too hard a time making the case to part ways with him.
