All I'll say about Lawrence is that Clemson has really only needed him to step up and carry them one time and that was the worst game of his life.  He's a terrific college QB, but Joe Burrow was way better last year than he has been so far and that's not a knock. Joe Burrow may have had the best college football season ever last year.

He's very much a better prospect than Burrow and Murray. He'd be considered a better prospect than Watson was at the time(who was a little polarizing when he was drafted). I'd take a rookie Lawrence over Watson given my opinions of them around draft time. I'd definitely take Watson over Lawrence with the ability to see how good Watson has become. 

What ends up happening?? Ask me in 6-8 years.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
