I said earlier in the thread he is over paid, RBs don't warrant more that 10m a year period, we have over 50m in dead cap his contract is hardly the biggest reason, spent wisely QB,Lt,De

Do you even realize how much cap we're about to have moving forward with a QB on an extremely modest deal, the dead is just that dead.

Move on we don't even have a LT or DE to lock up long term yet. Motom will get taken care of this off season.

according to over the cap he’s cut-able starting in 2023 but no way this franchise has the guts to cut him unless he gets outed or something. just gonna have to hope to find savings elsewhere.

Once again I’m not talking about this year. 2021 we have 2 mill in dead cap. I’m talking about the future and team building. How we build this team for our next franchise qb. The only way the cmc contract makes sense for me is if it’s a seahawks/marshawn lynch/RW rookie contract situation but we do not have the talent that they did to justify that contract.

I’m thinking we’ve had a good bit of good rbs on the roster since cmc’s been here but since cmc is godly they don’t get enough snaps. Look at bonnfon and now Davis. Even Holyfield and weigher showed potential, not to mention Cj Anderson balling out after we cut him. 

I guess it’s a good problem to have but I’d rather cmc get 15 rushes and be used a lot more in the passing game to increase his longevity, especially with what we have at backup rb
