Changed from my opinion before the games started? Not much except the defense. The last two games they really played well, and I figured they were so young overall it would take more time. We’ll see if they’re legit or a product of playing the Chargers and Cardinals.

I thought the offense would struggle at first as they work in a new coordinator/new qb, and they did to an extent.  They seem to have worked out some of the kinks today.

I thought the defense would improve as the year went by, but not this quickly.  Our run defense looked the best today it has since 2018.  We actually held the opposing teams running backs to a subpar day.   Hopefully its real improvement, and not just a function of the teams we have played.

Knew the offense would improve with Brady calling plays, they haven’t disappointed so far.

Thought the D would be abysmal, historically bad but they’re actually showing signs of being really good.

Thought we would be in the running for Trevor Lawrence but there’s too many bad teams.

Teddy has been a pleasant surprise. He’s had one rough game against the best defense we faced, but otherwise, he’s been pretty damn good. His willingness to run is definitely a nice surprise, too.

Robby Anderson and DJ Moore are the best 1-2 punch we’ve had at wide receiver since 2003.

Joe Brady’s experience with Teddy and Teddy’s off-season training with Anderson have really helped.

The OL nutted up today and kicked ass.

After two weeks of being a sieve, the defense has found its momentum. Burns is becoming an excellent pass rusher, Brown clogs the middle and Chinn is a tackling machine. Jackson is deadly if he gets a break on the ball and while they’ve had their bad patches, Shaq and Boston (particularly Shaq) have also made big plays.

    • Yeah this needs to happen ASAP. I don’t care if the price is lower. These Vikings fans on Twitter are absolutely insufferable. Acting like they have been world beaters for the last 60 years and thinking Carolina should just hand him over for nothing. We’ve had 7 or so tough seasons in a row and we have still been to two superbowls since they have and won more playoff games since 1995.    I hope Dan sends him to Detroit for a 2040 7th rounder and eats half the contract. Even Sheena is replying to them.
    • I hope your cath went well
    • So did the Panthers initiate this by making him "available for the right price" or was this something Thielen himself pushed for? I also never saw this quote he made about JJ McCarthy back in June. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/panthers-adam-thielen-both-asked-182711572.html Thielen believes McCarthy is built for big moments and will eventually show the world the skillset that won the Michigan Wolverines a national championship in 2023/2024. He even said McCarthy could be the “face of the league.” “I have high expectations for him. I've been able to be around a little bit through some of the time last summer... back in Minnesota, and I think he has the ability to be one of the great quarterbacks this season and the face of this league at some point. You know, I think he's got every tool and intangible that you can have,” Thielen said. “Obviously, it's a difficult league and it's not gonna just be easy, but I think he has the ability to handle adversity to be able to be big in big moments, as you saw when he was in college. I think he's got a great support staff around him, whether it be the coaches or the trainers.” Sounds like he's had one foot out the door for some time now.
