Why was Daley scratched, I thought he was finally healthy? Does the staff not think he should be starting at guard?

Not sure what was to the right but if Davis had followed him he could have cut to the right and gotten the first down and maybe more.

Either way he affected the play getting just a bit of his leg slowed him down and Davis got the first down.

I can tell you this---in the film room with the other linemen, Reed is going to catch hell.  They will bring it up all week.  They will emulate him at practice.  They will send him social media footage of Pete Rose doing a head-first slide into second base. In the film room, they will play it over and over for a good three minutes as everyone laughs. 

It was always the first thought you had if you ever did something like that. Yes, most of the crowd did not notice it, but the eye in the sky don't lie--and it has a rewind button.
