A major problem is that everyone is in this "you're either with me or against me" mentality. It's not just this board, it's society in general. You can't even have middle ground opinions anymore without being crucified for it. We also lean towards one extreme or the other. Something that is normal or average is blown out of proportion to align it with that person's agenda.

Best post I have ever read. If this doesn’t capture our moment in time, nothing does.

Nah he’s not. They’re 1-5. He’s washed.

The Falcons are bad. Sure. Their QB is not. Every QB in this division has better TD to INT and more touchdowns scored as an offense than Teddy. Stop with this Matt Ryan/Drew Brees/Tom Brady are done/washed/lost.

You are so dense. It's not about 1 quality player.

Number 1 this year gives us a franchise qb plus minimum 2 other starters.

You're plain dumb if you think that you can't get impact players through day 3.

The top tier teams in the league consistently draft later in rounds. And we've already had the discussion with plenty of examples that franchise QBs come pick 1 to pick 32 with regularity, and some even after that. You just refuse to listen to truth, and there is no skull denser than that! Even your ears are weighed down by your own dense daftness!

Only Panthers fans think Ryan is that much better than Teddy. Hell, Falcons fans said on their own board that Ryan is washed and they want his ass out of here.

Define “washed”. Because Atlanta’s version of “washed” is indeed playing better.

Ryan vs Teddy

65% vs 71%

1843 vs 1676

11 vs 6

3 vs 5

    • I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.
    • We need to hope this scenario plays our next week he fails with pressure…what that means with Evero, is beyond me
    • Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
