Bucs Flight Delayed 7 Hours Due to Mechanical Issues

The tweet says about to board after 7 hour delay, doubt they sat in the plane during repairs, but waiting 7 hours for a flight is not fun either.

As a child we were delayed coming from Japan to US in Hawaii for almost 24 hours.  At the time military families would be placed on planes with extra seats, and you never knew when that would be so you had to wait in the airport.  Imagine being in Hawaii and never seeing anything but the airport

I have been delayed 6 hours in Munich, 8 hours in ibiza, and about 10 hours in Boston.  In Ibiza we were in the plane and sat and waited that long.  Even in the airport if feels like forever.  Each time I was wiped after the flight the next day.  But for each delay after it I had at least a 6 hour flight after it covering at least 3 time zones.  So I don't know if its the combination of the delay and the flight or the delay itself had that big of an effect.  I have flown 8 or 9 hours with no layover and felt fine the next day, so thats just from some guy on the internet.  Not an NFL football player.

No. It definitely does not say anything negative or creepy about how sports obsessed we are as a society that we're posting tweets to a message board detailing mechanical delays to the flight of an opposing team for a game here.

Not at all.

And I definitely don't feel weird just for posting to this thread.

The fantasy foootball world would say differently

Being as it was a private service they probably weren't applied to the same rules as a commercial flight though, getting up, bathrooms, etc. but still 5 hours on a tarmac is enough to drive someone insane. Especially when when your only suppose to spend maybe an hour and a half in the air.
