I said it elsewhere...  I hope he is 100% OK, but I also hope the staff takes this as an opportunity to give PJ and Grier a look and plan for the future.  We've already seen who Teddy is and his performance hasn't and won't make a difference, and as you said, the team is bad as a whole.  Keep Teddy as a mentor through next year and see if PJ or Grier are worth keeping as well.

They were doing the ACL test on the sideline which has like 99% accuracy. If they don’t believe it to be serious then it’s likely a minor MCL sprain.

Yeah, from the looks of it, it didn't appear to be serious either.  I expect it to be a minor sprain of something other than the ACL.

Which ACL test?

So the average sensitivity of the Lachman’s is about 84%. Where are you getting that it’s “likely a minor MCL sprain?”

This. Would be nice to see PJ in a situation that he isn't just thrown to the wolves in, but I feel like he's destined to be a mediocre backup or #3.  Would rather get the look at Grier since he was the bigger investment, and see if that's a draft pick worth salvaging at all, or if we should just part ways this offseason.

Go into next year with Teddy as the initial starter in the Fitzpatrick/Tyrod role where he belongs, our 1st/2nd round QB as the #2, and the PJ/Grier winner as the #3.
