Seeing Walker makes me see Teddy's limitations too

You have no facts to back anything you say right now..

Do you have both of their 40' times??

How do you know who has the stronger arm or better velocity?? Do you have a speed gun and tested them on throws?? Show something..

Now you're mad because you don't understand English. LOL! Okay.

I said hit a receiver in stride on a pass like that. 'In stride' is the key qualifier there, though the 47 air yards are also near or father than a Teddy season long as well.

So what is the criteria here??

It has to go 47 yards and hit the WR in stride?? Are we talking that exact.. Or can it be a pass over 25+ air yards (which is the general definition of deep pass) hitting a player in stride??

Wow, you are digging yourself a hole. One post you say Teddy has more zip in short and intermediate routes then you say you didn’t say he has a stronger arm and now you act like we need a radar gun? The announcers said multiple times that Rhule said PJ has the strongest arm on the team. Also, pro-day times have Walker faster. Walker wasn’t invited to the combine and Bridgewater didn’t run. Walker sure seems faster when you watch.

Are you Teddy’s agent? I don’t recall most people saying PJ is the future just that he’s got more physical tools with a stronger arm and faster. I don’t think PJ is the answer but he sure did show me what Teddy is missing and why I want a rookie QB instead.

Your highlight was a 16 yard completion. Today’s was a 52 yarder. Seems like there’s a wide gap. We’ve seen Teddy under throw Moore multiple times this year on the same play. That’s what people are saying.

I’d say talent falls more along physical attributes. Skill is attained through self awareness and reps.

Being clutch and able to be calm under pressure is probably an intangible talent

Well like I said..

Teddy bigger and throws with more velocity on short and intermediate passes.. I don't know who has a faster forty or who truly has the stronger arm... And I don't think many here do either..

20 yards is not a deep game-changing, field-flipping, momentum-grabbing play, as has been my position since all of these discussions started way back when. Teddy has underthrown receivers multiple times in situations like this whereas Walker hit Moore in stride, something Teddy has done once.

Your discussion is in bad faith here and there's not anything else to be said - my point is simple and straightforward. Teddy has put plenty on film and now we have a bit on a different QB in this offense, happening to be PJ. It's fair to compare and contrast.

Now we're telling ppl their emotion on a football forum.. Instead actually showing proof of the difference in players "talent"..

Okay..lol

LOL @ you. You listed all the things that you thought Teddy did better and almost none of it had anything to do with talent. Then you made it obvious you didn't know the difference between talent and skill and now you've completely changed your tune. You just didn't know the definitions of those words. Don't get mad about it.

If you think Teddy shows better mobility or better velocity on his passes then I doubt you did any better on your vision exam than you did on your vocabulary exam.

What highlight.. The one I was showing about Teddy looking downfield when he was scrambling.. That had nothing to do with showing a deep pass?? Lol that one?

You know i don't see how anyone could learn anything from anyones preformance on offense today that they did not already know.  It's easy to play offense when you give up 0 points and play with the lead the entire game and you only give up 3 or 4 3rd down conversions all game.

When you don't get the other team off the field on 3rd down all game and you don't play with a lead the entire game and your defense can't stop anything, how do you play then.  That tells me something

I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from today.  After all, it was Detroit.

Having said that, PJ deserves a closer look.

Said the same thing about our defense.

I agree with benching Tahir Whitehead, but don't come out of this game thinking Jermaine Carter suddenly made the defense better, or that Phil Snow got it together today.

The Lions did us a lot of favors.

I think you might be right on the intermediate passing. But it does seem that PJ makes up for that on the deep passes. Brady told the FOX guy today that PJ has the best arm on the team. That can mean different things of course.
