...is on the Washington roster.

I had completely forgotten this, though given that he's missed several games this season (likely to miss tomorrow's game as well) and apparently only played sparingly for the games in which he appeared, it was an easy thing to forget.

Anyone else not realize this?

The NFL is trying to tell TD what a lot of people in the building realized a couple years ago.  As great a person as he is and player as he was, he's done.  I hope we can sign him to a one day contract that allows him to retire as a Panther.  There probably isn't another guy more deserving.  It will be pretty disappointing if he doesn't retire here.

It would be nice for him to go out on a high note.  A playoff victory where he makes a key tackle would probably be a good thing for him.

It's really tarnished his legacy in my opinion. He should have retired a panther.

They are playing relatively well, they are probaby going to the playoffs, and they nearly pulled off the upset against Seattle with Dwayne Haskins as their qb.  Its not outside the realm of possibility that they could pull a first round upset against whatever wildcard team they play.  In fact, if they play the Rams, I would say its about 50/50.

I grant it's possible. I just don't see it.

Mind you, I do think they'll beat us.

Tre Boston, Shaq Thompson, CMC, and a handful of others.  Just shows how fast NFL rosters tend to change.

I think he’s played like 10% of snaps this season. Always a great locker room presence but his time has come to retire.
