This roster is just not very good, but at least we have two players to build around in Ball and Hayward.

Bridges reminds me too much of Gerald Henderson. Being an explosive dunker only gets you so far.

Washington looks like a player just happy to be there. No killer instinct whatsoever. He’d be a bench player on any western conference playoff team.

Graham and Rozier have nice flashes but are way to inconsistent. Again, they seem more fit to be bench players on any decent NBA team.

Zeller and Biyombo, not playoff quality starters.

As someone on twitter said last night, this team plays hard but they don’t play smart.

Hayward is the fuging man.. A little old for where our team stands in our rebuild and we still need some more pieces around him but I definitely love having the guy on this team. We had to take our chance on him this offseason or we may have never gotten a player of his caliber. I think we still wind up with a lottery pick this year and hopefully can nab another guy to round out the core here, but if we do make some progress and make the playoffs I'll be happy too. Definitely not sure about Borrego but I do feel confident that given time Kupchak can build a winner here.

See, we were just talking about the NBA.

Can't tell me that this game wasn't fun to watch / exciting.

Keeping Devante and his bad defense on Fourian almost cost us this game..

We don’t have anybody else...I’m wondering if it’s our scheme...we play too much zone...but that may be because we can’t guard anybody man to man

in any case, a much needed win...play them again tomorrow

Definitely was, but it helps when you can invest time into following the specific players like I have with the Hornets to start this season. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely getting more into the NBA lately and have watched almost every Hornets game so far this season (bought NBA League Pass here in Boston for the first time). But it's less fun/exciting with other teams when the games don't mean that much in the regular season and you know it'll be the same exact teams in the mix in the playoffs... I do think it's been getting better in the past couple of years and if that trend continues I'll probably watch even more, but that's yet to be seen.

    • By all indications, the surgery was "minor." I know with all surgeries and especially back surgery there can be complications, but I think the whole time Tremble did this with the expectation he would be able to be back for Week 1 It sounds like he will be ready to start back in team drills next week. He's a veteran who knows the system so I'm sure that helps. I still can't imagine he will play a normal workload early on though
    • Maybe. He was pretty good in college before a bad injury. He had a good preseason last year as a UDFA in Washington and was on their practice squad all year so they obviously saw something worth developing. He signed a futures deal with the Panthers earlier this year, and everything about him has been increasingly positive. Tremayne has gotten a decent amount of time with the ones, and a lot with the twos for someone that doesn't have a chance. He's the only other 6'4" plus WR on the team, plays ST, and is a more natural backup to the X receiver position than David Moore. That was my thinking behind it. But he may well end up as one of the last roster cuts. If so, I do hope they can bring him back to the PS. But I personally think there's a good chance he could be claimed given his ST ability and what hes shown at WR.
    • That was my thought originally, but so many of the beat writers have mentioned keeping 7 WRs in conversations that I went with that, at least for the purposes of this projection. But you're right that historically defensive guys who were standouts at ST have tradionally gotten those last spots
