I agree. However, he had some really good seam throws and posts. I was surprised by the accuracy and strength on those balls. Everything else was suspect.

I completely agree. Between the hashes the kid was money, but that's not how NFL offenses are run. You need to be able to hit on the out routes to make it in the NFL, and he showed that he struggles to do that.

What he did as a QB was AMAZING, the underdog who out ran all his majorly hyped peers. Statistically the strongest riser in the conference and college football. Not a one year wonder. He studied. He worked on mechanics, reading, crazy quick release. This guy is a grinder. It it shows up on tape AND the stats. I've got REAL DATA to back up Kyle Trask as being the real deal. 6'5 235lbs 4300yrds 43TDs 8ints in the SEC! AND almost won it all. BALLER!

I told y'all on this here site that Justin Herbert was the truth. I was mocked...

You guys say so and so is the best without data to back it up. Where you at apoloosa,sp.?

He. Was. Carried. By. Outstanding. Pass. Catchers.

Look at the Bowl Game against Oklahoma. A mediocre game would have gone a long way to dispelling that. Instead he had a horrific game and looked like Sam Darnold seeing ghosts.

    • Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.
    • Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.
    • NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
