What would you give up to trade up to 4?

Lots of speculation saying CAR likes Justin Fields. If he's there at 4, would you move up? No way he gets past DEN at 6, and while I don't think Darnold is a bad QB, Fields has a ridiculous ceiling. How much capitol would you give up?

Fair enough. To move up from 8, it would probably take a first this year, a third this year, and a first next year.

Falcons would make us pay dearly for their pick. Also I think Denver is below us at 9 unless they trade up.

As much as I don't like it, we've already made our QB trade. A team looking to add more draft assets isn't trading draft assets to move up in the draft after they've already traded three draft picks

for Sam Darnold.

I like the move even though I have significant reservations about the player.  It means we don't have to give up three first round picks to get someone.  If a guy we like falls, great, draft him.  If not we can at least get through the draft knowing TB5 won't be under center.

I think there were better options out there than Darnold, but I agree with the Panthers in the thought that we couldn't go into the draft with the same three QB's who ended last season.

They already traded three picks away for Darnold you think they'd trade away even more for another QB?

Zip, nadda, zilch.  That boat sailed when we acquired Darnold.  As for a non-QB?  That trade up would be BEYOND stupid.
