Dolphins Releasing Starting S and Team Captain Bobby McClain

I just saw on Twitter - then the tweet disappeared, that the Dolphins are releasing starting  FS Bobby McClain.  Hes a starter and former CB, so it seems like a guy like this would certainly fill a big need with us at FS.  Might be worth taking a look....

Yep, Eric Rowe could be next.  They've added Holland next to Reshad Jones and had 7 safeties rostered.

Totally worth checking out.  This is truly a cap casualty.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw it, though I can't claim to have watched enough of the Dolphins to say anything authoritative about him.

I think it depends on how much cash hes looking for.  I believe he was making like 6-7 mil a year in Miami, so that might be too rich for our blood at FS.  Although this guy would look real good on our D next year.

For some reason thought he was older than 27.  This could be an interesting guy to target.

I actually think he's a great part of the team. But when Chinn is inside the box, we need someone back with Burris.  That could be a McCain.  Unsure who really fits that bill currently on the team.  Hartsfield? Franklin?

6 year veteran with high character on/off the field good production and experience. As someone said, it would depend on the asking price but he’d appear to be a great fit.
