The Saints are going to be garbage. Brees made that team.

The Falcons are going to be the Falcons. If Darnold is able to live up to expectations this team will be competing with TB for the South.

Those expecting the Saints to collapse now that Brees is gone may be for a surprise.

Yeah Brees was one of the best QB's in the league, but we also know that Teddy took over for him and did rather well for a stretch of 5 games or so.

Bottom line:  Saints are a talented team, don't sell them short.

Nah

Every single long pass attempt the reciever had to change his course, turn around, slow down, and/or catch at the hip.  It was a horrible pro day and probably why he dropped like he did.

I think you’re confused as it was almost The most universally praised Pro Days in the league. And this throw was absolutely better than Darnolds.

That was 1 throw.  Media loved him, scouts not so much obviously. I said the same thing the day after the pro day and you made excuses for it.  I think you just blocked out all the bad throws

The question for them next year will be if Winston is going to be feast or famine like he was at Tampa, or can the Saints coaching staff turn him into an effective qb?

Winston is in a similar situation as Darnold.  We’ll see how much of their previous performance problems were coaching and the supporting players around them and how much they ‘own’ themselves.  Will be interesting to revisit this at the end of the upcoming season.

You literally wrote “every long throw” just a couple posts ago. Media did not love him. That’s where stories about his work ethic came from. I think you, again, are making things up for dramatic effect. Scouts not so much obviously? One of the tweets above literally quotes a scout.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
