I don't know why the NHL just didn't make it a best of 7 series between the Avalanche and Lightning from the start and save the time of these meaningless series. The talent level of Colorado and Tampa is just vastly superior to everyone else.

When you look at a veteran team like Boston, the game is never over with them. You can see how confident they are that they’re never out of any game. Now you look at the body language of the Hurricanes right now and they look like they’re frustrated and pressing. They need better goal scorers plain and simple.

And during the regular season we were that team. We just need to learn that during the playoffs there is a different level.

Boston and NYI are both very good teams that could definitely beat Tampa.

They need to sign some veteran FAs who have been there and done that. You look at all the contenders and they have a few older guys gunning for a last chance at the cup. Carolina has none of that. Corey Perry would have been a good signing.
