Transparent how? What do you want to really say?

Because gimmicks only go so far. If you have a SB team and the only thing holding you back is your offense? The Ravens know they will never win a SB unless they can throw the ball better than they have. They can move on or always be what they've been the last few seasons. They will never win a SB unless Jackson learns how to throw. Facts bro facts.

Yeah, facts! You know, the ones that come with no data! Not opinions, facts!

YOu gave me the facts bro, Jackson: 10.5

Thanks for making my point. Good job.

10.5 rushing attempts per game backs up that Lamar Jackson can't "learn to throw?"

I appreciate you continuing to set the dumb bar lower and lower. This is the easiest thrashing I have handed out in weeks.

Something a little deeper at play? Are we speaking in code now? Before I consider reconciliation I'd like to know what exactly I'm supposed to reconcile. If you have something to say just say it. Don't hide behind innuendos. I didn't attack you personally but just gave my football opinion but you seem to be hinting at something more personal. If you've got something to say just say it. Don't hide behind pretty words. What are you trying to say exactly.

Telling people to go root for another team over a discussion about quarterback styles is making things personal. You have made multiple posts about how you dislike running quarterbacks it's pretty clear you have some bias on the matter. You're welcome to your opinion but others are also free to call it as they see it. I've made my position as clear as possible I want a winning quarterback. I'm not in a position to be overly picky either I'll welcome a winner plain and simple whereas you seem to think you are going to the store to pick one out. It doesn't work that way if one falls in our lap and does not check all your boxes but wins that's all that matters 💯

I never said he couldn't learn to throw. Although I'm happy you admit that he does. I just said that he needs to learn how to throw or the Ravens should move on. You seem to lose focus and let your anger override the discussion. You never said what my transparency was by the way. Care to put it into words now or do you prefer to claim victory over something i fail to understand. You do realize that when you posted Jackson's run stats that you proved he's a running QB. Do you not?

You literally lost the debate so many times during this thread it is fuging amazing.

When you read this sober(which I am sure you won't) you will see how you literally couldn't even stay on point from one post to the next.

Don't believe me, go back and read it. I did and it made me laugh again.

Not really,

NO,

Yes,

No

Do I have to do the hokey pokey and turn it all about now?

I can't think of an Offense that runs their QB anywhere near what the Ravens do. But there are a whole bunch of guys who are really mobile. With Defenses nowadays, you have to be able to throw the ball, being mobile is just a perk.

Teams want Mobile QBs. QBs that can buy time, run the RPO once in a while, or leave the pocket to pick up a first down occasionally. The running QB era may be coming to an end.

I know that was where this conversation started before it got sidetracked.

You sound very defensive.

I'm guessing you get accused of something very particular quite often. Wonder why?

    • Who is "they"?  Who in the media still argues that Bryce Young could reach the levels that people thought he would before the draft? I mean, nobody is going to come outright and bash the kid.  By all accounts he's a good dude and I think that is why you don't see the media come after him like they did Zach Wilson.
    • It started during the Denver game after that first drive. i don’t think the panthers got a first down again until the fourth quarter.
    • The Panthers will finish with at least 7-8 wins.  So that leaves them with only two "smart" choices in my opinion: 1. Sign a reasonably priced free agent QB and see if they are better than Bryce Young in training camp - The issue is there will be very little options.  There is almost no way the Colts let Daniel Jones walk.  Rodgers, Flacco, and Wilson will likely retire (and is Wilson better than Bryce anyway?).  Winston is under contract with the Giants for another year.  That leaves Mariota, which I'm all for, but the Commanders will make a big push to keep him given Daniels' injury history.  Outside of him, there is literally nobody else. 2. Stick with Bryce Young for one more year - Nobody wants this to happen, but the Panthers won't be in a position to draft one in the first round and it isn't a strong class to begin with.  Mendoza, Simpson (and do we really want an Alabama QB?), and Moore will likely all be off the board by the time we pick.  Bryce isn't good, but we are still 5-4.  I'd rather continue to build the rest of the team than reach for a QB.  Then we could set ourselves up nicely in 2027 to make a splash play if we choose.  This is how we should have approached years past; stuck with Kyle Allen or Sam Darnold or Teddy Bridgewater and kept building the team until we were ready to make a splash.  But every year we panicked and did something stupid. There is the idea you could throw a dart at a guy in the later arounds, but IMO this just isn't a good QB class and odds are it will be a wasted pick.  I still think we need a lot of depth on the defense.  I'd rather focus there.
