PFF snapshot of our game

Not much detail but a few things i found interesting.

What we learned about every NFL team in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL preseason | NFL News, Rankings and Statistics | PFF

Kenny Robinson played great.

Aaron Monteiro played really well in the run game, from what I could tell played LG and RT.  Might want to keep an eye on him next game.  Could he sneak on the 53?  If so, somebody surprising isn't making it.

Actually played 59% of the snaps.

Snap Counts: Panthers at Colts in preseason opener

BC lost 4 out of 34 reps in pass protection, is that good or bad?

Brown didn't lose any out of 14.

D-line was bad against the run.

Haynes played well against the pass.

LB's struggled.

Hubbard ran well, caught terrible.

Taylor and Pride struggled.

Gotta love PFF.

as opposed to?

I doubt many people here took the time to watch Aaron Monteiro on every play.  Half the fans here probably don't' even know who he is.

I'm not saying PFF is perfect, far from it, but most fans do nothing but watch the ball.  They see highlights and lowlights.

I'm not one of those fans.

PFF is a tool just like any other....I rarely actually see anyone say "PFF IS THE END ALL BE ALL" people that disregard it entirely are foolish. The level of tracking and in depth analysis they provide is absolutely useful, especially over many games/ larger sample sizes. Def more accurate the huddle overreaction eye test I'd say 🙂

I liked Robinsons game, the advanced stats backed it up. It's cool to see a guy with a different path make some waves

I'm definitely not saying he is going to make the roster, but he might have bought himself another week wish a decent performance.

LOL "TERMINATED from the New England practice squad".

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
