Soooooo not gonna lie….if we would have been in position to select Justin Herbert in 2020 I would have been interested in how This roster bodes…

only reason I say that is they showed an ESPN thing in “mnf qbs first 5 weeks” and he was up there. We didn’t have the chance to take him so it is what it is.

Nah we had Teddy. Didn’t need him…

It would haven taken too much. We're barely a talented team this year, I can't imagine us without guys Brown, and Chinn.

I wouldn't mind trading up this year or next to snag one if Darnold doesn't pan out.

Rhule and Fitterer have shown they will quickly move on from a QB if he's not the guy.

Thankfully they haven't done that at the expense of the rest of the roster as, as you've correctly pointed out, we're not in the position to be trading away Draft resources. We need quality depth.

We're paying Teddy to start for the Broncos a little over a year after they evaluated him as a perfect fit for our system under Brady. We then brought in a statistically worse QB who is a perfect fit for our system this year, and also suddenly realized that we don't have a quality backup for the new injury prone QB.

That's an overly harsh evaluation, but if Sam doesn't get it done, I don't see how Rhule and Brady recover.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
