think that falls under the duress what he is saying.  Notice the guy up n the left and Sam not stepping into the throw.

I personally think that was a bad read.  But can pick up what Smitty is putting down

I don't think that affected his throw at all. If Robby was the only one there, then the ball placement is good.

The problem with that play isn't that he's under duress and made a bad throw.

It's that he didn't see the defense at all and made a bad decision.

He had time on all three interceptions. Brady is scheming players wide open and he is missing the throws plain and simple. Every play you scheme isn't going to work, but when they do you have to connect. Also, that is the problem if a QB sees ghosts out there. You only have all day to throw the ball once or twice every now and then. Greg Olsen said it on the broadcast yesterday that Sam missed a lot of throws. Greg knows football too!

It's possible Steve got Slay and Nelson confused.  Nelson 100% made a great play on that throw and jumped the route.

Pretty sure Nelson stated that he'd seen that route a few times already and was prepared for it, or something to that effect.

Basically, they knew what was coming.

Yea it's not just a pressure issue it's what several of us have been/keep saying. Brady is an issue atm too.

No he didn't. The Slay interception is at 1:15. He wasn't being hit there either. But admittedly in a collapsing pocket. It was a great play by Slay and a bad throw by Sam.

but he is under duress, he is unable to step up and make the throw. I dont know what Steve is referring to. Im just stating that its possibel he got the two mixed up.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
