Yep Canes are a true contender

Hornets should definitely be a playoff team at least, could maybe even get a top 4 seed and make some noise early in the playoffs, though I don't think we quite have the star power/depth to truly contend this season (especially the glaring hole at C). In the next few years I could see it but not quite this season. I'll gladly take playoffs though and how fun this team is to watch.

I really can't believe how good Ish and Cody were in that 4th quarter. LaMelo didn't even need to enter, and honestly great coaching from JB to keep those guys in while they were hot and taking care of business. I'm sure he was ready to call a timeout and get the big boys back in if there were any slip ups but his trust in Ish and Cody continued to payoff right up to the end of the game. Love our coach and GM, Jordan finally got it right with Kup and JB

      Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.

      I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.

      Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
