Al Wallace- “I don’t think he finish’s the season here.” 
 

just had him on WFNZ.  Pointed out how now multiple weeks.  Players from multiple teams have called out our offense and they knew the plays etc. 

And in the NFL, that’s a hard fireable  offense.

Sam has been bad.  The OL has been atrocious.  And I know that Brady has taken some heat.  But hearing that from a Former NFL DE.  That’s eye opening and bad.  
And honestly, just as bad as everything else that’s wrong with our offense.

this is all true. 

But the nature of the beast says, Rhule will start sacrifcing position coaches and coordinators.  So the OL coach, QB coach, and Brady are the the ones being talked about to hit the under side of the bus first. 

Because the front office isn't going to take it all on the chin.  That doesn't happen in the NFL with a season like this.

This is true.

but he went on onto talk more about Brady.  How all the routes are predictable.

How we run little to no motions etc mixing and moving things up for the D.  Said we come out and all the teams know the play we’re going to run point blank.

I was amazed at how little motion I saw pre-snap yesterday. More than to change up the defense, you motion to get the defense to show their coverage. Darnold could have certainly used that information.

The assistant QB coach and the passing game coordinator are both Baylor guys.  That's how you know Joe Brady and the QB coach will two of the first get thrown under the bus.   

Maybe let your OC and not your DC pick the QB next time.

I've said this before (not that it matters) but a good OC would find a way to make it work....to make something work. I'm sure he's smart, but he's lacking experience and an ability to adjust, adapt, and situationally scheme and play call.

Move on.

He did though.  It requires a really bad opponent once you dumb it down so much.  Like Atlanta.

You still can use motion’s etc to throw things off a little.  We don’t do any of that.

we come out with a set play.  A play that teams are saying they know is happening.  And just snap it.

Na that's not what it is anyway

When you can't block and you have a QB who is one read and panic and throw an INT, it really limits your ability to run an offense whether we're talking NFL, college, high school, whatever.

      This is a good take it really is to the point dc needs to let the world see the real byoung b/c right now everyone in the media and tepper has had blinders on when it comes to young.  Its hard to even know where the panthers are at skill player wise with such horrible qb play.  I doubt it but legette may be a probowl wr he just cant throw the ball and catch it.  I am just so sick of every excuse in the book for byoung.  LIstened to a podcast and the guy was going over how many different options byoung had on the int and all of them were ok except for the one where he threw an int.  He said the play could be run by a hs qb and they would typically make a good decision.

      I certainly have my complaints about Canales but I'm not ready to fire him yet for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, Tepper has made this one of the least appealing jobs in the league. Morgan and Canales are here to begin with in large part because guys higher on the wish list take other jobs. If you fire Canales you're gonna end up replacing him with another third tier candidate who wasn't being seriously considered by other teams with openings. That's just the reality of the situation right now as far as I can tell. Secondly, despite plenty of room for critique, we are 6-6 despite the worst QB play in the league. That's really damn hard to pull off in the modern NFL. Especially when your D isn't dominant. Our D is greatly improved but is still a slightly below average overall defense ranking 18th in yards per game allowed and 20th in points allowed. Going 6-6 with atrocious QB play and slightly below average defensive play is pretty damn impressive. Even more impressive when you also factor in that we're in the red on turnovers differential at -3. When you combine league worst QB play with slightly below average D and negative turnover differential honestly you'd expect to be in play for the #1 overall pick, not 6-6 and having just played a game that a win would have you leading the division. So yeah, even though I'm far from sold I advocate for patience with Canales for the time being. If you ask me if I'm bringing him back next year, I'm a yes barring a catastrophic meltdown down the stretch which admittedly is very much a possibility.
