Long shot- But what happens if PJ balls out?

Not hating on Cam or anything but was reading this article about PJ throwing 4TDs in a Madden simulation. What happens if PJ goes off and wins today and the rest of the season?

Not saying it will happen but if it does, does that take all the wind out of the big Cam balloon made this past week? Does Cam start anyways?

It's one thing to put up good numbers.  It is one thing to put up good numbers and look good doing so.

The former is much more likely than the latter with PJ Walker, and hopefully the coaching staff would be able to differentiate between the two.

If Murray and Hopkins are out today (Edmonds too), then I think the defense could put Walker in a lot of situations to put up points.

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
