The other ranked win (vs. #20 Navy) was a similar story. Overall yardage was close, but Navy turned it over 3 times to Temple's 0.

So in Rhule's two ranked wins, the turnover margin was +8. 😂

That's a lot of organizations with terrible ownership groups, bad track records, decades of losing, sometimes even potential curses (looking at you Lions). If you think about it, a wise team would avoid the coaching candidate most wanted by the bunch, unless they were a proven NFL coach (and there were none in the race).

This may be how eternal bottom feeding teams in a parity league stay at the bottom. We pretty much went all in on the most popular candidate among the special ed students at the NFL school. And here's where we ended up.

I always saw it as a boom or bust pick. Especially when he hired solely college coaches.

We have seen far better college coaches with more success in harder conferences suck in the NFL.  I think he's just better dealing with kids then full adults in the NFL maybe.  Also think the dude has a silver tongue and sold himself well.  Hurney probably bought it hard.

He is a programme builder. He turned around two absolute dumpster fires in short order by improving the culture and recruiting well. We've already seen what a good eye for talent he has in the last two Drafts. 

He's not an X's and O's guy - he leans on his co-ordinators to do that.

With that in mind, he needs to do the right thing and fire Joe Brady. The guy is terrible at his job and is dragging this team down.

One of the teams he was the HC for was Temple. Temple.

The other was Baylor post-scorched earth rape scandal. 

Yeah, I'm not holding his lack of ranked wins against him. Especially considering he left both jobs just as he got the teams rolling.

      Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.

      Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.

      Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
